Night (or Day) at the Museum

If you've seen me lately, you can vouch for the fact that I've been strangely addicted to wearing one particular scarf. It's a rich paisley in earth tones and it's soft, warm, and the perfect finishing touch to my not-so-put together fall look. So I was busy thinking about how great the scarf is when someone asked where they could find their very own. When I told them where, their jaw dropped. The answer: the Metropolitan Museum of Art store. You know, the gift shop at the famed museum (and that cheesy mall store everywhere else). They actually have an awesome collection of accessories (not to mention killer coffee table books) that are definitely worth a look. If you're into more bold colors and statement jewelry, make sure to visit the gift shops are MOCA in L.A. and MOMA in NYC. Beautiful textures and tableaux (not to mention the art) make it a stop worth making.
